Can I print the card contents after it has been sent?
You can print the card using your browser controls but for technical reasons and as the images are not licenced for print use we cannot enable an automated print button.
How do I delete a message I don't like?
As the card owner you have the ability to remove any messages you don't like, in the same way that you can remove the example message.
Simply click on the button to 'See Contributions' and click the dustbin icon above the message to be removed. Enter your log-in password and confirm removal of the card.
Only the person that added the message can remove it with the correct password otherwise.
Can I upgrade the card to add picture options?
No. The correct card type needs to be chosen at the outset. You can have more than one card open at the same time so you could purchase another card with the correct features and save the other until a suitable use arises. There's no time limit on how long you can keep a card open.
Note you can't transfer messages to a new card. Order the correct card at the outset to avoid disappointment.
When will my card be sent?
Conscious sentence once per day early in the morning. As a UK business we run on UK time, however in future releases we will add adjustments for different time zones so your cards will always be delivered in the morning.
Can I send the card using WhatsApp?
The main send channel is e-mail. Make sure you have an e-mail address for the recipient. If you want to send your card using WhatsApp, manually send the card first, this locks out any further changes. Then use the share link to share via WhatsApp.
How many times can I send the card?
You can automatically send the card email once, but you can set a primary and secondary email address for the recipient. You can manually re-send your card one more time using the controls – the card will be in the previous cards section.
As long as the card is online you have access to the share controls, so you can copy and share the link as often as you like.
How long will the card be accessible?
A card that has been sent, could possibly be accessible for 18 months and beyond. At a minimum it will be accessible for 360days.
As the owner of the card, your action dictates whether the card is accessible after that date. Due to data protection requirements, we will not keep an inactive, unpaid card online for more than six months. The six-month timer resets each time you log in.
As long as you log in and maintain your data, all your cards will stay active.
What personal data do you hold?
We hold the minimal amount of data to deliver the service. See our terms and conditions, but in short we have your email and the name you supply.
We do not collect your card details, that information is with the payment provider. We do store the minimal transaction history only to be able to properly handle payment queries.
If you are inactive for a period of time we will notify you before deleting any relevant data. If you re-register after a deletion event we will not be able to associate your new details with any previous cards.
Can I download my card?
You are free to do as you please with your card. In future releases we will make a print or export option available.
How do I create a custom card image?
You can use any medium to create your personal card. We recommend you stick to a portrait format with a 2:3 aspect ratio. Use any graphics tools you have access to.
You can also use any AI tools to prompt an ideal image for your particular use. You can upload from your device and we recommend you save in JPEG format.
Images you unlink from your card are immediately deleted from our servers. If you accidentally delete the image you will have to reupload.
Limitations: The data size limit is 400kb. The image maximum width or height is 900px.
Our image library is constantly being updated, so check there first. Feel free to use one of our images as a basis for your own.
Can I change my password?
If you are a card owner, you can follow the change password option from the login page.
If you left a greeting and you've forgotten the password you set with your message, ask the owner to delete the message. You can then add a new one but you will have to use a different email address.
Suffering harassment?
If you receive a card that you consider a form of harassment, we will soon be adding a feature to allow you to exclude your email from receiving any further Coodles. Card senders will not be notified of the restriction applied to your email address.
